Colour-and-weave
Log cabin
Plain weave throughout; the pattern is pure colour order. Where the warp and weft sequences step together you see lines, where they clash they turn.
Log cabin is a colour effect drawn in indigo warp over natural weft - woven in a single colour the same threads would read plain weave, and the whole figure comes from the order of dark and light.
