Type a threading, a tie-up and a treadling; the drawdown is computed as you type, the same arithmetic the program uses. Nothing leaves the page - it is the solver core, not a server. Load any library structure to start from, or clear the boxes and build your own.

Threading top-left, tie-up top-right, treadling down the right, drawdown lower left. A filled square in the drawdown is a warp end over the weft. Rising shed; shaft 1 is the top row.

What the solver checks

The real program does more than draw: it flags floats longer than your limit with the end number, reports a shaft that no treadle can lift, and refuses a sett the reed cannot sley. This page shows only the drawdown and the float lengths. For the file format behind it see formats; to read a structure fully, the catalogue links a page for each.

If the drawing disappears, a treadle in the tie-up is raising a shaft that no end is threaded on, or the treadling names a treadle the tie-up does not define - both are the kind of thing the program would box in red. The table of structures stays readable without this tool.
